April 22, 2008 There are more gorgeous pictures in the guest gallery! Thank you to everyone who sends me pictures! I love seeing them ^_^ I have some bad news... the "Long White" fur is currently out of stock. My regular supplier is out of the fur I use so I am working on finding more. I hope to have some more in the future. November 17, 2007 There are new sample pictures for SD and MSD wigs. There are some lovely new pictures in the guest gallery too. Please note that "Soft White" is now sold out. US and International airmail shipping has gone up a little bit. I'm sorry to announce that the price of style #2 has gone up. I don't want to raise prices, but I have to since the US dollar is down. October 2, 2007 There are lots of updates today! Firstly, I'm happy to finally introduce a new colour: Long White. This fur will be replacing "Soft White" once it sells out. The new fur is very long and straight.  I've also added a message box on the main page where you can leave comments or suggestions. The "Info" section has been updated with some answers to your questions. There's lots of new pictures of different styles. AND there's more pictures in the guest gallery! ^_^ June 28, 2007 There are some new wigs for Petite/unoa sized dolls: bob, short pigtail, and tied "braids." 
There are some new pictures in the guest gallery too! June 14, 2007 The good news: The Mellow Melon site got a make-over! The guest gallery has (finally) been updated with a ton of gorgeous pictures. And Mellow Melon welcomes a new arrival: a unoa Sist, Phllyobox. The not so good news: the Grey fur is sold out. I am working on getting a new type of grey fur, so look for that in the future. Also, shipping prices have gone up a little bit. I have added a cheaper shipping method, though: lettermail. There's no insurance with lettermail. It's mostly for people who are buying one wig and want to save on the overall shipping cost. April 4, 2007 I'm happy to announce a new arrival to the Mellow Melon family. Please welcome Winnie, a Unoa hybrid. Petite sized wigs are now Unoa approved! There's a new type of fur available: Rust Brown. It's very long and soft. I hope you like it!  I've also decided to discontinue stocking White and Caramel. I do still have some of the fur in stock, so if you still want to order a wig in those colours please feel free to contact me for details.  And one more little update: I only have a small amount of grey left. If you are interested in that colour, please order soon. However, I may be able to get a new type of grey that is longer and thicker. February 05, 2007 There are new styles available for SD and MSD: Tied "Braids" and a new version of the "bob" wig. 
January 17, 2007 Mellow Melon has re-opened! There's one little update: I now offer fur swatches to make it easier to decide which colours to buy. October 06, 2006 Lots of updates! Firstly, Petite sized wigs are now available in loads of colours and styles! There's a new limited colour too: Bright Blue. I only have a bit of the blue, and once it's gone I won't be able to get more. 
Prices have gone up for some of the wig styles. I set the old prices when I started making wigs. Since then, the quality of the wigs has gone up. Each wig now takes more time to complete. Thus, the old prices do not reflect the quality of the wigs I am now making. 
August 01, 2006 Braided fur wigs are now discontinued. I'm not totally happy with the overall quality of that style since the braids get messed rather easily. They are also very costly and time-consuming to make. I don't want to raise the costs for a product that I'm not proud of. My apologies. June 18, 2006 Finally, Mellow Melon Fur Wigs is officially launched. And to celebrate I'm now offering two new colours. (Baby pink and the longhaired Soft White.) Mini-Super Dollfie sized wigs are now available in all styles. |
